1. Information We Collect

When you create an account or use Bzaar, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and shipping address, as well as information generated by your activity on the platform, including listings, purchases, and messages.

We also collect technical and usage information automatically when you use the platform: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the searches you run, referring website, and session and device identifiers. This information is linked to a random device identifier and, when you are signed in, to your account — it is pseudonymous, not anonymous. You can switch usage analytics off at any time in the Privacy tab of your profile; see our Cookie Policy for what that covers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the marketplace, process transactions, send transactional emails, prevent fraud, and improve the platform. We analyse usage information to understand how the platform is used and to research and develop new features, such as improving search results, pricing guidance and recommendations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or to track you across other websites.

3. Sharing Your Information

When you complete a sale, your shipping address is shared with the buyer to facilitate delivery. When you make a purchase, your shipping address is shared with the seller. We also share data with service providers who help us run the platform (e.g. payment processors, email providers) under strict confidentiality obligations.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations. Technical logs containing your IP address are retained for 30 days. Usage analytics records are retained for 24 months, after which they are de-identified or deleted. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us; when we do, we unlink your usage records from your account.

5. Your Rights
